John Jefferson

During his tenure at AT&T, John was responsible for creating relationships and building advocacy across the company’s domestic footprint.  Utilizing his extensive knowledge of ICT products and services and emerging technologies he facilitated engagement with experts and executives from Silicon Valley to Wall Street creating value for the company through strategic partnerships, lead generation and brokering ties to powerful affinity groups and stakeholders.  

John joined AT&T in 1996 and built his career through a wide array of challenging roles with increasing levels of responsibility including; managing a team of union techs in Network Operations, working on multi-million dollar bids in Strategic Marketing, running 100+ person organizations in Business and Consumer Sales Support, and as an individual contributor and expert witness in Municipal Affairs and Regulatory.  Prior to joining AT&T, John worked in roles ranging from manager of a hostel in Tel Aviv, Israel to consulting at IBM in San Francisco.  

John is currently a Co-Founder and Head of Business Development at in’Sight Labs, a hyper-spectral imaging startup, and a technical advisor to the Nexus Mundi Foundation and G.R.O.W.  Former board roles include Meeting of the Minds (Urban Age Institute), Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC) and Summer Search.  John is also the Co-Founder of GNAC (Greater Nuba Action Coalition) a coalition supporting the Nuba people of Sudan. His extensive international travel includes over 40 countries, since he took his first trip overseas in 1987.
